It is part of the rural settlement of Sizemsky (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Charomsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Charomsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Sheksna is 22 km, to the center of the municipality of Charomsky - 2 km. The nearest settlements are Bolshoy Igay , Demino , Charomskoye .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 8 people [3] .
In the village of Skorynino, the Hero of the Soviet Union T.V. Fedorov was born ( 1915 - 1944 ). On the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, the brothers T.V. Fedorova - Fedor, Dmitry and Feofan also died.
