It is part of the rural settlement of Domshinsky [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Domshinsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Sheksna is 25 km, to the center of the municipality of Nesterovo - 5 km. The nearest settlements are Dyakonitsa , Zubovo , Alferovo , Rebyachyovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 311 people (145 men, 166 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [2] .
