Taylor ( born Taylor River ) - a river in the United States , in the state of Colorado . It originates near the Castle Peak Mountain, near the Elk Mountains mountain range, in the northeastern part of Gunneston County, Colorado. It flows first to the southeast, flows through the reservoir of Taylor Park, formed by the dam of the same name, and then turns to the southwest. Near the town of Almost, Taylor merges with the River East and forms the River Gunnison . The length of the river Taylor is 77.6 km.

Most of the river lies within the national forest Gunnison. Taylor is a popular place for fishing and rafting [2] [3] [4] .
