Educated in the Polotsk military school . Entered the service on 08/10/1873. He graduated from the 1st Military Pavlovsk School. Released Praporschikom (08/04/1875) in the 7th artillery brigade. Art. Adjutant of the Directorate of the Chief of Artillery of the 5th Army Corps (13.09.1876-15.12.1882). Second Lieutenant (10/21/1876). The lieutenant (12/26/1877). Headquarters Captain (11/29/1882).
