General Information
The competition was founded on the eve of the 1997 season by the joint efforts of the FTF and ITF , which at that time expanded their series of women's professional competitions.
The prize fund of the competition has repeatedly changed over the history of the competition, but since 2004 it has been unchanged and is equal to 50 thousand US dollars .
In recent years, the organizers have additionally promoted their tournament by broadcasting live videos from two central courts on the competition website for the entire nine days of the competition.
- Winners and finalists
Throughout its history, the tournament did not have any specific group of tennis players, which from year to year reached the finals on local courts. Over the 16 years of its existence, only two cases have been recorded when the same athlete won the local prize in one category more than once: Tatyana Perebiinynis won the singles tournament in 2003 and 2007, and Oreli Vedi won the doubles (in 1998 and 2011). Several times a tennis player submitted to the tournament in both categories in the same year: the first in 2000, this achievement was established by Elena Tatarkova , in 2003 it was repeated by the same Perebynis.
The French won the home tournament eight times: four titles were won in singles and doubles.
