Geography
The village is located in the west of the Tamalinsky district, 5 km north of the village of Malaya Sergievka . [one]
History
According to the studies of the historian - local historian Poluboyarov M.S., the village was formed on the lands of Prince Golitsin-Prozorovsky, was part of the Balashov district of the Saratov province . In 1911, there was a school and a church in the village. Since 1926 - the center of the village council, since 1939 - in the Tamalinsky village council, since 1955 - in the Shunkinsky village council, then as part of the Malosergievsky village council. In the 50s of the XX century , a team of the collective farm named after V.M. Molotova. [one]
