Career
Club career
Danny Rose, a graduate of Leeds United Academy, grew up in a family in which football was a tradition. His uncle Mark spent more than 700 matches for Doncaster , Wolves and Preston , cousin Michael Rankin played for Aldershot Town, and his brother Mitchell played for Rotherham United [3] .
Danny was first declared as a member of the Leeds in a League Cup match in September 2006, and in July 2007 he was sold to Tottenham Hotspur for a million pounds. He held his first match for Hotspur in early 2008, but then suffered a knee injury and after treatment was leased to Watford to gain experience. He spent seven matches there, praised by Brendan Rogers' coach, after which he spent six more meetings at Peterborough United before returning to London [3] .
Rose’s re-debut in Tottenham took place against his home team Leeds United in the FA Cup , and in the first game of the Premier League, he scored a goal to the eternal rivals of Tottenham - Arsenal , which helped his club win with a score 2: 1. Rose spent part of the 2010/11 season again as a rented player, this time at Bristol City , and returned to Tottenham only at the end of the season, having managed to play four matches. The following year, coach Harry Redknapp put Rose on the Hotspur main team 20 times in various competitions, but at the beginning of the 2012/13 season he received a red card and after the end of his sentence was sent to Sunderland for a year [3] .
Rose had a successful season with Sunderland and was chosen by the team as “Young Player of the Year”. Returning to Tottenham Hotspur, he entrenched as the main left back, displacing Benoit Assou-Ekotto from this position. At the end of the 2013/14 season, it was assumed that Rose would part with Hotspur, given how little chance he had received as part of this team in previous years, but in July 2014 it was reported that he had signed a new five-year contract with Tottenham [4] .
Team appearances
Danny Rose throughout his junior career was a regular player in England youth teams under the age of 17, 19 and 21 years old [3] . As part of the latter, he participated in the scandalous qualifying match of the European Championship 2013 in Serbia, where the audience showered him with racist insults. Rose, who reacted to them with rudeness on his part, received a red card from the match referee [5] .
In the summer of 2012, Rose was invited to the UK Olympic team , with whom he reached the quarter-finals at the London Olympics [3] .
March 26, 2016 he made his debut for the main team of England , playing in a friendly match against the German team . The match ended with the victory of the British with a score of 3: 2 [6] .
