It is part of the Andreevsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Ostrovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Ostrovsky Village Council.
The distance to the district center of Lipin Bora by road is 49 km, to the center of the municipality of Andreevskaya village in a straight line - 10 km. The nearest settlements are Antropovo , Bosovo , Matveeva Gora , Nefedovo , Nikonovo , Troshino , Shugino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 23 people (7 men, 16 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (96%) [3] .
In Moseevo there are architectural monuments a peasant estate Kirillova [4] and a residential building (post office) of the late XIX - early XX century [5]
