It is located southwest of Tver on the Staritskoye Shosse ( 28K-0576 Tver-Rzhev ), the 14th km from the Tverskaya bypass road.
The population according to the 2002 census is 495 people, 240 men, 255 women.

History
The former name of the village is Spasskoye . In the List of Populated Places of 1859 [2] there is the owner's village Spasskoye, a postal station on the Staritsky postal tract, 20 miles from Tver, 21 yards, 148 residents. In the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, the Spasskoye village belonged to the Voskresenskaya volost and the parish of Tver district .
In the 1920s it was renamed Nekrasovo (probably in honor of the poet N. A. Nekrasov , whose 100th anniversary was celebrated in 1921).
In the 1930s and 60s, it was the center of the Nekrasovsky Village Council as part of the Kalinin District of the Kalinin Region .
In 1997 - 147 households, 372 residents.
