Biography
He began his career in 1939 at the Yulaly mine in the Baymak district. After a successful performance at the republican amateur show, he was included in the participants of the Decade of Bashkir Literature and Art in Moscow (1941). He was invited by F.A. Gaskarov to the Bashkir State Folk Dance Ensemble, in which he worked until 1963. Member of front-line brigades, performed in concerts at the forefront.
The most noticeable dance compositions: “Baik”, “Three Brothers”, “At the Stream”, “Gift”, etc.
Awards and titles
- People's Artist of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1953)
He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1949), the State Order of the 2nd degree (1967, Cambodia).
Laureate of the Fourth World Festival of Youth and Students (gold medal, 1953, Bucharest), laureate of the All-Union Pop Art Competition (Moscow, 1960).
