Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Chelbas River in the steppe zone.
The Malorossiyskaya railway station is located on the Tikhoretskaya - Caucasian line . The Caucasus Highway (M29, E50) runs 1 km east of the village.
History
The village of Arkhangelsk was founded in 1801 [2] (according to other sources in 1798 [2] ) by migrant peasants. In 1833 [2] the village was transformed into a stanitsa and ranked as a Caucasian linear Cossack army.

In 1934 - 1953, the village was the center of the Arkhangelsk region .
