Chiddy Bang - American pop rap group, consisting of Chidera "Chiddy" Anemidj and Noah "Xaphoon Jones" Berezin . They were introduced to a former band member Zachary Sival at the end of 2008, in their first year of study at Drexel University, which is located in Noah's hometown, Philadelphia. Their sound is based on fusion and alternative hip-hop using samples from artists such as Ellie Goulding, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Passion Pit, MGMT, and Yelle.

Career
At the end of February 2009, the pretty music blog Pretty Much Amazing published five Chiddy Bang songs from their MySpace page . Because of this, the group came out of the underground and was invited to participate as guests of honor at Swarthmore College in April 2009. Pretty Much Amazing continued to publish new Chiddy Bang songs from time to time. In November 2009, he debuted the first free mixtape of the band The Swelly Express [1] . On Thursday evening, during the first MTV Music Awards ceremony, Chider “Chiddy” Anemidge from Chiddy Bang broke the Guinness World Record for the Longest Rap Freestyle . Chiddy snatched the crown from the hands of M-Eighty, breaking the record of 2009, reading rap for 9 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds, freestyle for 9 hours 18 minutes and 22 seconds [2] . Also, he broke the record of DO (Duane Gibson from Canada) on the longest rap record . The DO entry was 8 hours and 45 minutes long.
The group also appeared in the popular NBA 2K12 video game with the song “Here We Go” recorded with the participation of Q-Tip , and also with with the song “Mind Your Manners” recorded with the participation of Icona Pop . One of their most famous songs, “Opposite of Adults”, was used as a soundtrack for the game “ Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit ”.
