Biography
He dealt with the problems of the history of social sciences, the methodology of empirical research , the influence of socialist and communist ideas on Polish society.
He served as director of the Institute of Sociology at the University of Lodz, head of the department of methodology of sociological research.
Since 1980 - member of the Independent Trade Union " Solidarity ", was an expert and adviser to trade union structures.
