Adio is a skate shoes and clothing company founded in Catania by Chris Miller in 1999. It was acquired by K2, based in Carlsbad, California. K2 was later acquired by Jarden in 2007 [1] . The name is pronounced "adio" or "ad e o". In its early years, Adio sponsored professional skateboarding and snowboarding. Members of the group since 2004 have been Sean White, Jeremy Ray, Tony Hawke, Bam Marger, Ed Celego, Danny Montoya, Brian Sumner, Kenny Anderson, Alex Chalmers and Steve Nesser. Veteran Jim Stroesser was named president of Adio in December 2009. He founded the company’s largest office in California in January 2010.

In November 2010, Adio announced the dissolution of their skateboard team and relocated to New York. By 2011, Adio is no longer in the United States.
