Valčinets ( Mold. Vălcineţ ; also Volchynets ) - a village in the Ocnita district of Moldova . It is the administrative center of the Velchynets commune, which also includes the village of Kodren [5] .

Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Dniester River at an altitude of 85 meters above sea level [1] .
In Volchints there is a crossing point of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and a railway station.
Village Day is celebrated on September 21.

According to the 2004 census , in the village of Velchynets live 1909 people (862 men, 1047 women) [2] .
