Gornozavodsky (formerly Gornozavodsky settlement ) is a residential area in the Zheleznodorozhny administrative district of Yekaterinburg . From the west, Gornozavodsky is bordered by the Novaya Sorting residential area, from the north by the Uralmash plant, from the east by the Northern Industrial , and from the south by the Vokzalny residential area.

The structure of the residential area "Gornozavodsky" includes: the former Gornozavodsky settlement and the former settlement of the railway station "Zvezda". The district is rather isolated: from three sides (west, south and north) it is limited to railway tracks and there are only three exits to neighboring districts.
