History
On November 12, 1934, Pope Pius XI issued the bull A Romano Pontifice , which was established by the Apostolic Vicariate Caozhoufu, separating it from the Apostolic Vicariate Yanzhoufu (today - the Diocese of Yanzhou ). The pastoral care of the Apostolic Vicariate Tsaozhoufu was entrusted to the monks from the monastic order of Verbists .
On April 11, 1946, Pope Pius XII issued the bull Quotidie Nos , which transformed the Apostolic Vicariate of Tsaozhoufu into the diocese of Tsaozhou.
