The Jewish treasure in Bretten ( German: Jüdischer Friedhof Bretten ) is one of the Jewish cemeteries in the north of the German state of Baden-Württemberg , located in the city of Bretten . Due to its historical value is a cultural monument ( Kulturdenkmal ).

History

At first, the dead members of the Bretten Jewish community were buried at the Waibstadt Jewish cemetery . Since 1883, its own private cemetery has been opened in Bretten, which is located on today's Windstegweg. The last burial took place in 1949.

The area of ​​the Jewish cemetery is 11.18 macaws (1,130.18 m² ). It has 146 gravestones.
