Frank Esposito ( French: Franck Esposito : born April 13, 1971 , Salon de Provence ) is a French butterfly -style swimmer, bronze medalist of the 1992 Olympic Games, and multiple European and Mediterranean champion. Known by the nickname "Titus."

Sports career

Frank has participated in four Olympics since 1992, but only at the first Olympics did he win his only Olympic medal - a bronze award in a 200 m butterfly stroke competition. His next milestone was silver at the 1998 World Championships in Perth, Australia, where Frank had already set one of the swimming records in the semifinals. Despite the fact that he did not win any awards at the Atlanta, Sydney and Athens Olympics and the 2001 and 2003 World Championships, he was considered one of the best in the French team.

Known as the four-time European champion in the 200 m butterfly stroke and the author of several world records. In short water competitions (25 m), he set a world record at 1: 50.73, and in classic competitions - a European record of 1: 54.62. He also has 5 gold medals of the Mediterranean Games and gold medals of the World and European Championships in short water swimming.

Since September 2005, he has been the chief manager of the Antibes Swimmers Sports Club. In 2008, on the eve of the 2008 Olympics, he worked for a while on Monte Carlo radio , where he hosted several sports programs and even prepared a team of radio presenters for swimming competitions. He also worked as a commentator on Canal + .

He participated in the Fort Boyard television game in 1997 ; this issue was shown on the Russian NTV channel . As a result of the show, his team won 92 520 francs.
