“ A Year Without Love ” ( Spanish: Un año sin amor ) is an existential drama by Argentinean director-debutant Ahan Berners. [1] Her story is based on an autobiographical novel by Pablo Perez. [2]

Content
Story
Pablo is a young aspiring writer who dreams of publishing his work one day. Despite the fact that the man has several friends, he is very lonely. Pablo has HIV-positive status, but he still refuses to start treatment, partly because of the fear of the consequences and complications that therapy can lead to. Instead, the young man plunges into the world of casual dating through the Internet , movie theaters for gays and sex in dark rooms. Pablo plunges headlong into the world of sadomasochism , the pain makes him forget about health problems. When the doctor convinces him that it is necessary to immediately begin treatment, Pablo tries to decide whether to continue a disastrous lifestyle or give himself another chance.
