A Brief History
M.S.A. was formed at a constituent conference held on November 21, 2011 , in which representatives from Ukraine , from Israel , Germany , Latvia and Russia participated, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, on the basis of which, a program was subsequently adopted and the structure and basic principles of organizational activities.
The majority of ISA participants, until early November 2011, were members of the RCAC and left it in an independent structure because of different views on the tasks and organizational structure of the anarchist organization, as the embryo of the future free society. In the coming months after the inaugural conference, quite a few new people joined the ISA, wishing to continue their joint anarchist activities. The UIA Council was created, with delegates elected in the local sections, without a permanent mandate and with the ability to recall the delegate at any time, by decision of the majority of the local section members. Inside the Council, temporary and permanent responsibilities are allocated for solving coordination tasks, any post is also not permanent and there is a constant castling of posts by decision of the Council, or a personal initiative of the participant.
At the beginning of 2012, Spain and Sweden proposed their candidacies for membership in the ISA, where the General Council decided on their adoption and participation in the work and activities of the organization. The growth of the organization did not stop there, at the end of May a group of anarcho-communists from Belarus also decided to join the ISA. At the moment, the Union also maintains ties with anarchists from Bulgaria , Kazakhstan , Lithuania , France and Tunisia .
In 2013, the organization ceased to exist.
ISA objectives
- The liquidation of the state , wage labor, inequality, private property, the widespread replacement of commodity-money relations, relations based on the principles of mutual assistance, equality and fraternity. Joint planning from below by self-governing collectives of workers, residents, consumers, economic activity in accordance with the principle of “ from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs within the framework of the economic possibilities of society ...”
- The widespread introduction of direct democracy, the transfer of the entirety of the adoption of key decisions about public life to the meetings of workers, students, pensioners and other groups of the oppressed population.
- Creation of elected and strictly subordinate to the assemblies (through a system of peremptory mandates and the right to recall) coordination councils for public control over production, housing, education and all other spheres of life.
- Autonomy of any ethnic and religious communities, provided they reject the authoritarian institutions, hierarchies , values of capitalism , xenophobia .
Fighting Methods
- Direct action, that is, an action directly committed by the people themselves (without intermediaries, like parliamentarians, union leaders, state laws) is the basis of the struggle everywhere and always. Refusal to register social movements, to coordinate pickets, to obey the law during strikes.
- Demonstrations and pickets
- The organization of strikes not controlled by trade unions and political parties, mass blockades of city and railway routes and transport hubs, as well as other direct-action actions that sabotage capitalist production.
- The liberation (seizure) of urban and rural spaces, infrastructure and industrial enterprises to create the foundation of a Libertarian socialist society.
- The unification of Libertarian socialist initiatives and revolutionary cells in different cities and countries.
- The widespread introduction of internationalism, the fight against nationalism and xenophobia. We stand for the union of the oppressed from all ethnic and confessional groups, formed during the class social and revolutionary struggle.
- The creation of self-defense of workers (police, militias) to protect against state forces and capital.
Principles of Internal Governance
Any question requiring a solution is submitted for discussion by the section. The decision is made by consensus. If the question concerns the entire organization as a whole, it is submitted to the International Council. In this case, consensus is much more difficult to achieve and voting is usually held. According to its results, a decision is made or rejected.

During the existence of M. S.A. held several events: helped to support striking workers, starving Chernobyl victims, graffiti and a sticker of the campaign were held, the work of the print media, radio appearances, etc.
At the moment, anarchist content channel and Internet resources have been launched, several sites , newsletters , publishers , etc., have appeared to promote their ideas.
