Nightmare of You (from the English - “Your Nightmare”, pronounced “Nightmare of Yu”) is an American group that performs its songs in the genre of indie rock .

History
The band was founded in 2004 in Long Island by the former guitarist of The Movielife, Brandon Reilly . In 2005 she released her first album - “Nightmare of You”. The album included the singles “My Name Is Trouble”, “The Days Go by Oh So Slow” and “I Want to Be Buried in Your Backyard”, and the song “Dear Scene, I Wish I Were Deaf” was included in the soundtrack of the computer FIFA 07 games. In 2006, Nightmare of You won the Yahoo! 's Who's Next? Contest. In 2007, the band released a mini-album “Bang”, and a year later went on a tour of the United States. On 4 August 2009, the album “Infomaniac” was released, the band’s last album to date. "Nightmare of You" went on tour in the US and the UK. At one of the British concerts, Brandon Reilly announced that the group was going on indefinite leave, and he was leaving for Italy. In 2011, Brandon Reilly wrote on his Facebook page that the group was resuming activity and several new demo versions of the songs were ready, but it was not known who, besides his friend Joseph McCaffrey, would be part of the new band. On May 10, 2012, “Nightmare of You” uploaded a new song, “Out Of My Mind”, on its website [1] . In July, the song “Give Us A Kiss” was released [1] .
