Biography

Alexander Malinovsky was born in Kiev. In 1940, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute , studied with I. Karakis . At the same time he studied at various construction and design organizations in Kiev.

From June 1941 in the ranks of the Red Army , from September 1941 to April 1943 he was captured, from September 1943 - again in the army, participated in the Great Patriotic War . He was awarded the medal " For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War ."

After the war, he worked in Kiev at the Kievproject Design Institute. He was one of the authors of the master plan for the restoration and post-war development of Khreshchatyk , the Bolshevik Zavod metro station (now Shulyavskaya ), the monument of the October Revolution, the House of Trade Unions, and the airport in Boryspil .

He lived in house number 25 on Khreshchatyk street. He died in Kiev on August 19, 1976.
