Biography
Born on May 5 ( May 18 ), 1911 in the village of Gilev Log (now the Romanovsky District (Altai Territory) ). From 1930 to 1933 he studied at the Proletkult Theater Studio in Kemerovo . From 1931 to 1934 he worked in the Stalin City Theater. Then until 1948 he worked in the MDT named after A.S. Pushkin . Subsequently, he worked at the VATD named after A.V. Lunacharsky , TDT named after A.V. Lunacharsky and at the Moscow Art Theater . From 1954 until his very last days he worked in Kiev at the KATRD named after L. Ukrainka .
