Career

Club

He started playing football in the Weibuslett youth team, originally played on the spot of the attacking midfielder , but in his teens he chose the position of the goalkeeper [1] . In 2001, he became a player in the Helsingborg youth squad.

He has been on the main team of Helsingborg since 2006, but he was only the third goalkeeper and did not play a single match in two years [2] . In the 2008 season, he moved on loan to the club from Superettan " Angelholm ". He took part in all 30 games and helped the club to take the 5th place in Superettan - at that time the highest in the history of Angelholm.

Returning to Helsingborg, he became the main goalkeeper of the club. The 2009 season was spoiled by injury, due to which Hansson was forced to miss a few matches. The following season, his confident game helped the team win the Swedish Cup and take second place in the championship . Before the start of the 2011 season, he was selected as the captain of Helsingborg and won three titles with the team for the year: the Super Bowl , the Championship and the Swedish Cup.

In the national team

While still a member of the Helsingborg youth team, Hansson was called to Sweden's youth teams of various ages. In the youth national team was involved since 2007, but more often was understudy of Johan Dalin . He entered the application of the youth team for the European Championship in 2009 [3] , but did not play in the tournament.

He made his debut on the national team of Sweden on January 19, 2011 in a friendly match with the national team of Botswana . The Swedes won 2-1, in the 47th minute, Joel Mogorosi scored a goal against Hansson [4] .
