Bratev Bykovs Street (former names: 3rd Melkovskaya , Viktor Bykova ) is a street in the residential area “ Central ” of the Zheleznodorozhny administrative region of Yekaterinburg [1] .

Content
Origin and history of titles
The original name of the 3rd Melkovskaya street was named Melkovskaya Sloboda of the city in which it was located. The street got its modern name in honor of the Bykov brothers - V. M. Bykov and P. M. Bykov - famous revolutionaries [2] .
Location and landscaping
The Bykov Brothers Street runs parallel to Azin and Melkovskaya streets (from west to east) from Sverdlov Street. At the site after junction, Eryomin street turns to the north-west and goes to Chelyuskintsev Street [3] . The street intersects with the street Spanish Workers . Left on the street Bykov Brothers goes Eryomin street. The length of the street is about 600 meters. The average width of the roadway is five to six meters.
Throughout the street Bykov Brothers there are two traffic lights . On both sides of the street is equipped with sidewalks .
History
The street originated in the 30s-40s of the XIX century in accordance with the general plan of the city. She became the third of four Melkovsky streets Melkovskoy suburb . It was fully built up by the 1880s [1] .
In the 19th century, 3rd Melkovskaya Street began from Melkovsky Pond , crossed Verkhoturskaya Street (Sverdlov), Melkovskaya Square (now built up), Turchaninovskaya (Spanish Workers) and Klyuchevskaya (Eryomina) streets and went out onto Severnaya Street (Chelyuskintsev). By 1887, at the 3rd Melkovskaya, there were 33 estates belonging to the families of workers of the Yates mechanical plant and the Yekaterinburg railway , and also families of artisans, small traders and employees [1] .
