Drew Sarah

Drew was born in Charlottesville and raised in Stony Brook, New York. As a schoolgirl, she began her career as a voice actress, working in the animated series " Daria ". In 2002, she graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in fine arts and in the following years actively appeared in film and television ^[1] .

Drew made her debut on stage in the production of Romeo and Juliet in 2001, and in 2003 received a role in the Broadway musical Vincent in Brixton ^[1] . After her role in the movie Radio (2003), Drew starred in the TV series Love the Widower in 2004-2006. She also appeared in several episodes of the series “ Mad Men ” in 2008-2009, and in addition to this, she was a guest in many other shows, including Law and Order: Special Corps , Private Practice , and Castle .

In early 2009, Shonda Rimes took Drew into her pilot “Inside the Box”, which was not implemented as a regular series ^[2] . This led her to the fact that in the same year, Rimes took the actress to the role of Dr. April Kapner in her series " Anatomy of Passion ." After appearing in a periodic status in the sixth, Drew was introduced into the main cast ensemble of the series starting from the seventh season ^[3] .

Since June 2002, Drew has been married to Peter Lanfer, a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles . The couple has two children - Mick's son Emmanuel Lanfer (born January 18, 2012) and daughter Hannah Malie Rose Lanfer (born March 12, 2014) ^[4] .
