Geography
The village is located in the south of the Tamalinsky district on the border with the Saratov region , on the right bank of the Khopyor River . The distance to the regional center of the village. Tamala - 20 km. 10 km from the village is the railway station Vertunovskaya of the Southeast Railway . [2]
History
According to the studies of the historian - local historian Poluboyarov M.S., the name of the village may have come from the surname Zubarev - one of the small nobles who at the beginning of the 18th century received lands in the governorship at the confluence of the Serdoba River into Khopyor.
Since 1780 - the village of Arkhangelsk, Zubrilovka identity in the Serdobsky district of the Saratov province , and since the beginning of the XIX century - in the Balashovsky district .
In 1785, under the patronage of Prince G.A. Potemkin-Tavrichesky, the village was transferred to the husband of his niece, General Prince Sergey Fedorovich Golitsyn , who laid the foundation for the Zubril manor here. In the XIX century, the village was considered "the most picturesque village in the Saratov province."
In 1877 in the village of 1682 inhabitants, a church, a school, a hospital, a fair, a bazaar; by the 1890s, a maternity hospital, a nursery, and a “folk teahouse”. In the early 1920s, the village was in the zone of a peasant uprising ( Antonovism ).
In 1928, the village was part of the Tamalinsky district of the Lower Volga region , since 1934 - in the Tamalinsky district of the Saratov region , and since 1939 - as part of the Tamalinsky district of the Penza region.
Until 2010, the center of the Zubrilovsky Village Council. According to the Law of the Penza Region No. 1992-ZPO dated December 22, 2010, it was transferred to the Malosergievsky Village Council. [2] [3]
