Dominic Gerard Francis Eagleton West ( born Dominic Gerard Francis Eagleton West , born October 15, 1969 , Sheffield , Yorkshire , England ) is a British actor. He was best known as the performer of the role of detective Jim McNulty in the series β wiretap β. In addition, he played in such films as β Rock Star β (2001), β Hannibal: Ascent β (2007), β 300 Spartans β (2007), β Punisher: Territory of War β (2008). Twice nominated for the Golden Globe Award (2012, 2015).

Biography
One in seven children in the family. He has five sisters and one brother. He began playing in the theater from the age of 9. In 1995 he graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He was noticed after the release of the films "Chicago" (2002), and "The Smile of Mona Lisa" (2003). He works a lot at the Royal National Theater, where he plays in the performances of The Seagull , How You Like It , and Rock and Roll .
Married to Katherine Fitzgerald, has four children, as well as a daughter from her first civil marriage [1] .
