The length of the river is 28 km [2] . It flows through the territory of the Olyutor district of the Kamchatka Territory [3] . The source is located in the hills of the Pylginsky ridge of the Gowen Peninsula. It flows into the bay of Corfu .
The name is probably from the Koryak Tynavnyvayam - βwarm riverβ.
The river waters are the site of salmon spawning [4] .
