Novodevyatkovichsky Village Council

Novodevyatkovichsky village council includes 27 settlements:

The Novodevyatkovichsky Village Council was formed on July 22, 1966 , which included 16 villages.

On February 11, 1972, the Masilovichi Village Council was annexed to the Novodevyatkovichsky Village Council .

In 2007, the village of Novodevyatkovichi was granted the status of an agro-town.

As of 2011, in 1,059 farms of citizens of the village council, 2269 people live.

In the village council there are 2 agricultural enterprises:

• SRUSP "Novodevyatkovichi" - specializes in growing pigs and young cattle, is engaged in the production of milk, meat and growing crops
• SRUSP agricultural company "Schara" - specializes in growing vegetables, crops, milk and meat production

On the territory of the village council there are 3 houses of culture (Novodevyatkovichsky, Partizanovsky and Sosnovsky), 2 secondary schools (Novodevyatkovichskaya and Sosnovskaya), Partizanovskaya basic school-kindergarten, Novodevyatkovichsky boarding school for single elderly citizens for 23 places, Novodevyatkovichsky kindergarten-nursery with 120 places , Novodevyatkovichskaya outpatient clinic, 4 FAPs, 3 rural libraries, a pharmacy.

In the village of Okuninovo, a memorial complex was erected at the burial place of 299 people who were shot dead on December 25, 1942 by German invaders. There are 12 mass graves and 2 obelisks for those who died during the Great Patriotic War .

On the territory of the village council there is a monument of archeology - in the cemetery of the village of Boroviki - 4 round mounds, one of them 1.6 m high, 9 m in diameter. There are also 5 churches and the church of St. Peter and Paul the Apostles built in the second half of the 18th century.
