The victory in the regular season and in the playoffs was celebrated for the first time in its history by the Whitaker United club. This victory interrupted a series of three consecutive victories of the Oakland City club, which won all previous championships.

Rules

The tournament was attended by 8 clubs. From November 3 to April 13, they held a three-round regular season tournament. Teams that took 2nd and 3rd places in the regular season played a semifinal match among themselves, the winner of which played the title of tournament winner with the winner of the regular season. This was the last championship held in such a system.
