It is difficult to list all the exact addresses where Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky stayed, since the location of some houses is still erroneously determined [1] . It should be borne in mind that in the days of Dostoevsky a different order of numbering of houses was used: now the even side of the street was previously odd. For example: Grafsky Lane No. 7 of the times of Dostoevsky - now Grafsky Lane No. 10. Therefore, to avoid confusion, the list contains modern street names and house numbers. The historical names of the streets are given by the distinguished B.N. Tikhomirov in his latest research [2] .
The list contains many, but not all, St. Petersburg addresses where the Russian writer lived or stayed.

After penal servitude and exile (1859-1881)
Contrary to the opinion of St. Petersburg historian and local historian Lev Lurie, F. M. Dostoevsky did not spend his whole life in "our city", from which he "did not leave." Out of 59 with a small life, the writer lived in St. Petersburg less than half. Almost 16 years of childhood and adolescence in Moscow , 10 years of hard labor in Omsk and exile in Semipalatinsk , forced four-year stay abroad and summer vacation first in the country, and then in your own house in Staraya Russa should be taken into account. It is likely that Lev Lurie, speaking of Nikolai Wrangel, who did not live with F. M. Dostoevsky on Caravan Street, implied Alexander Egorovich Riesenkampf [23] or Adolf Totleben [24] . F. M. Dostoevsky was not familiar with Nikolai Wrangel. With Alexander Egorovich Wrangel, the writer’s friendship began not on Karavannaya Street in St. Petersburg, but when he first met on November 20, 1854 in Semipalatinsk [25] [K 1] . Mikhail could not be the younger brother of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
