Mikhail Kilchichakov was born on November 21, 1919 in the Verkhnyaya Teya aal (now Askiz district of Khakassia ). Since 1936 he worked in the Khakass Drama Theater .
He participated in the Great Patriotic War . [one]
In 1942, after a serious wound, he was demobilized. He worked as the chief director of the regional committee on television and radio broadcasting, headed the Khakass branch of the Krasnoyarsk book publishing house, and was in charge of the literary part of the Khakass regional drama theater. In 1953 he graduated from the A. Gorky Literary Institute . In 1974, he headed the writing organization of the Khakass Autonomous Okrug .
Kilchichakov made his debut in drama in 1947, when his play “Doubt” appeared. He owns the drama “Shoots” about collectivization , the comedy “Bear Log” about the life of the Khakass village, the drama “Why the leaves turn yellow” about production leaders. In addition to dramatic works, Kilchichakov wrote several collections of poems in Khakass and Russian.
