Biography
Boxing career
Pierre Vogel participated in 66 amateur fights before, at the age of 22, he became a professional boxer in the first heavyweight. His professional career, which lasted two years, has 7 fights: 6 wins, including 2 knockouts and 1 draw. [2] In 2002, Vogel quit his boxing career and devoted himself to preaching Islam.
Religious Activities
Having adopted Islam (the Salafist movement ) in 2001, he began to study the Koran , and then began to preach the ideas of Salafism in mosques, universities and even Christian communities in Germany. In 2003, he married a girl from Morocco and became the father of two children.
Vogel is heavily criticized by the German authorities and the population for its radical Islamist views of the Salafist nature. [3] In 2011, the authorities banned Vogel’s public sermon in honor of the death of Osama bin Laden . The German Constitutional Defense Authority assesses Vogel's religious activities as contrary to the principles of democracy and equality. [4] Vogel's sermons contribute to the radicalization of the Islamic youth of Germany. [five]
In the issue of ISIS “ Dabik ” magazine in April 2016 he was named apostate and sentenced to death [6] .
