About the project

The Orchestra of Intuitive Music was created in 2001 by musician, composer, director and psychologist Jan Bederman [1] [2] . The orchestra never rehearses in the traditional sense, its foundation is free musical philosophy [3] . Orchestra musicians use over 400 instruments from all over the world [2] . The style of the music performed by the Orchestra is characterized as an intuitive ethno free jazz [2] . Orchestra compositions of intuitive music can be heard on more than 135 radio stations in the world [2] .

The Intuitive Music Orchestra twice participated in the prestigious international festival of independent music “ South by Southwest ” (SXSW — 2008 and SXSW — 2009) in Austin , USA [4] .

The orchestra has repeatedly participated in music festivals in the Czech Republic , Greece , Egypt , Russia and Ukraine [5] . In 2007, the album "Caution! Doors open ”was recognized as the most interesting experimental release of the year in Europe [5] .
