The Regional Northeast League ( German: Regionalliga Nordost ) is one of the five regional football leagues in Germany, according to the 2012 changes. The regional league is currently the fourth highest level in the German football league system, managed by DFB ( German: Deutscher Fußball Bund - German Football Association). The League was established in 1994 and lasted until 2000 , when it was abolished. Re-recreated since 2012 .

History
1994-2000
When it was decided to abolish this league in 2000, of the 18 participating clubs, the first seven clubs went to the then existing Regional League, five to the Northern League and two to the Southern; the remaining eleven clubs were demoted to Germany's Northeastern Football Associations (V). That is, in Oberligi Northeast (North) and Oberligi Northeast (South ).

There are five regional leagues since the 2012/13 season: in addition to the North-East Regional League, the fourth level of the German football league system will be represented by the South-West Regional League, Bayern Regional League, North Regional League and West West League " .
