Australian coral feline shark [1] ( lat. Atelomycterus macleayi ) is one of the species of the coral feline sharks ( Atelomycterus ), feline sharks ( Scyliorhinidae ).

Area
This is an endemic species living on a very limited area, which probably does not exceed 20,000 square kilometers. It is found in the coastal tropical waters of western Australia between Port Headland and Melville Island [2] . at a depth of 0.5-3.5 m. These sharks prefer sandy or rocky bottom [3] .
Description
The maximum length is 60 cm. The main color is light gray, with alternating dark gray stripes and numerous black specks [4] .
Biology
In males and females, sexual maturity occurs upon reaching a length of 48 cm and 51 cm, respectively [5] . This species breeds, laying eggs about 6.6 cm long and 2.1 cm wide [3] . Newborns are about 10 cm long.
Human interaction
Commercial value is not. The International Union for Conservation of Nature has given this type the status of “least worrisome” [6] .
