History

The first stone in the foundation of the cinema foundation was laid on May 9, 1945. In honor of Victory Day in World War II, the cinema got its name. The architect of the cinema was M.S. Yanshin.

At first, the cinema was built by German prisoners of war almost in an open field, where potatoes were previously grown. The cinema building on this site was the first, the rest of the buildings were built later. The construction of the cinema lasted 4 years and was completed in 1949.

The cinema was designed for 630 seats and had a large foyer with mezzanines. A stage was provided for the symphony orchestra to play, lecturers were given by teachers of Ufa universities and lecturers. There was a reading room. The building was decorated with the figure of a victorious warrior.

In 1958, the Pobeda movie theater became widescreen, and in the period 1960-1980s. at the annual competitions of the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR, he took first place more than 15 times.

Cinema today

In the 2000-2001's. the cinema underwent reconstruction, as a result of which the dilapidated building was repaired, and the projection and sound equipment and the screen were replaced. Then the sculpture of a warrior was removed from the pediment.

Until 2017, the cinema was part of the Planet Kino network of cinema complexes. The cinema has a mother-of-pearl screen and Dolby Digital sound system. The hall also mounted digital equipment for showing films in 3D. The hall itself is designed for 368 spectators.

On October 26, 2016, the sculptural composition that once adorned the roof of the Pobeda cinema was cast again and returned to its original place. The townspeople themselves asked to restore the "Warrior-Liberator, Worker and Collective Farm Girl". The monument was made by the Ufa sculptor Halit Galiullin.

On September 12, 2019, it became known that a children's art school will be opened in the premises of the former cinema on Pervomaiskaya Street in Chernikovka. This decision was made by officials at a meeting that took place in the evening, two days earlier. This institution is planned to be placed after major repairs, the technical building has been transferred to the customer. The cost of repair, as well as the timing of its implementation will be determined by the results of the survey of the object.
