Origin of title

The lane is named for the city of Asbest .

Location and landscaping

Asbestovsky Lane runs from west to east between the streets of Blucher and Sovetskaya , starting from the junction to Tobolskaya Street and ending at Blucher Street [1] [2] . The length of the lane is about 250 meters. The width of the roadway is about 5 m. On both sides the lane is equipped with small sidewalks .

History

The construction of a part of the city on the site of Asbestovsky Lane began in the 1930s . On the Sverdlovsk map of 1932, the lane is designated as Shartashsky Lane, and the buildings were located only on the odd side at the beginning of the lane. As already built up lane marked on the German map of Sverdlovsk in 1942 . Next to him on the even side was a nameless market.

  • № 4ж - two-story administrative building;
  • No. 6 (Krasin, 127) - a three-storey residential building;
  • No. 8 is a five-story 40-apartment brick house built in 1964.
