Kondratiev Medal

Kondratyev’s Medal is an award established in 1993 by the N. D. Kondratyev International Foundation and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences , which is awarded by the results of the International Competition for medals named after Nikolai Kondratyev every three years to three Russian and three foreign scientists for scientific achievements in the field social sciences. The first award took place in 1995 . It has three degrees: gold, silver and bronze. Since 1998, young scientists are also awarded the Kondratyev Commemorative Medal.

History

Appearance

On March 19, 1992, during the international scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Russian economist Nikolai Kondratyev , the International Fund of N. D. Kondratyev was founded. Subsequently, this international conference, the purpose of which was to discuss pressing problems of socio-economic dynamics in line with the ideas of ND Kondratiev, became regular and it was decided to hold it every three years. The following year, 1993, the ND Kondratyev International Foundation, together with the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences , established the Kondratyev Medal to reward conference participants who achieved great success in their scientific work. It was decided to award a medal to three Russian and three foreign scientists “for their contribution to the development of social sciences” [1] , and to award at the next conference.

First Award

In 1995 [2] , the first Kondratiev Medal was awarded to scientists who demonstrated scientific achievements at the 1992 conference. The first awarded were Russian scientists Sergey Glazyev (gold medal), Alexander Subetto (silver medal) and Vladimir Faltsman (bronze medal), as well as foreign scientists V. Crelle ( Germany , gold medal), C. Marchetti ( Italy , silver medal) and Ivan Abramov ( Belarus , bronze medal) [3] .

Memorable Medal

Since 1998, young scientists are also awarded the Kondratyev Commemorative Medal. The first medal was awarded by I.E. Kalabikhina.

In subsequent years, the winners were:
