Biography

Born in a large family, where she was the eldest child. She graduated from the Physics and Mathematics School number 13 of the city of Saratov.

Labor Activity

In 1975, she graduated from the Saratov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation with a qualification in Civil Engineering. She worked first as an engineer at the Saratov State All-Union Design Institute, then as a master at the Saratov Aviation Plant .

Since 1977 - a heat engineer, a design engineer at the Saratov plant of heavy gear cutting machines. From 1981 to 1990, she initially worked as the head of the political education office at the Y. Shapkin plant. VI Lenin, then secretary of the party committee of the plant.

In 1990 she was elected deputy chairman of the Zavodsky District Council of People's Deputies of Saratov.

She was one of the organizers of the restoration of the Communist Party in Saratov.

In 2000–2004 was a candidate member of the Communist Party Central Committee.

In 2002 she was elected coordinator of the All-Russian Women's Union “Hope of Russia” in the Volga Federal District. In November 2002, she was elected a deputy to the regional duma of the third convocation, a member of the committee on industrial, construction and municipal policy.

Since 2004 - member of the Communist Party Central Committee.

December 2, 2007 - elected as a deputy of the Saratov Regional Duma of the 4th convocation, member of the committees on social policy, fiscal policy and on state-building and local self-government.

In March 2011, she was elected First Secretary of the Saratov Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

December 4, 2011 - Elected Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the VI convocation . Member of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children.

In the elections to the State Duma on September 18, 2016, she ran for the list of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the single-member constituency, at the same time she also headed the list of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the elections to the Saratov City Duma. In the State Duma has not passed, from the mandate of the deputy city council refused. From January 2017 she worked as an assistant to the State Duma Valery Rashkin.
