Biography
In 1968 he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
In 1955-1968 - A member of the Czechoslovak national team, which twice (1956 and 1966) became the world champion, in 1958 won the European Championship. In 1964, he became the second in the national team at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, and in 1968, at the Summer Games in Mexico City, the third.
- 1950-1968 - physical fitness instructor, volleyball coach,
- 1969-1970 - player and coach of the Bari club (Italy),
- since 1970 - a teacher at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the University of Comenius, was a co-author of professional publications and university textbooks,
- 1973-1977 - Deputy Chairman of the Olympic Club in Prague.
Rewards
- Order of Ludovit Shtur 1st class ( January 3, 2012 ) [2] .
In 2006, the IOC awarded him the Pierre de Coubertin Medal , and in 2007, the NOC of Slovakia - with gold rings.
