Kazygurt ( Kazakh. Kazyrt , until 1993 - Leninsky [2] ) - a village in the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan . It was founded in 1908 [3] . The administrative center of Kazygurt district . In 1999, the village population was 13,264 people (6462 men and 6802 women) [5] . According to the 2009 census , 14,867 people lived in the village (7345 men and 7522 women) [5] .
