Baley, Brigitte

Brigitte Balley ( fr. Brigitte Balleys ; born in June 18, 1959 , Maroni , canton Valais , Switzerland ) is a Swiss singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

She studied in Sion , then graduated from the Bern Conservatory , vocal class Jacob Shtempfli She also worked with Elizabeth Schwarzkopf . She made her debut as a chamber singer in 1982 , on the opera stage - in 1985 in Freiburg , in 1987 she performed the part of Cherubino in The Magic Flute on the stage of the Vienna State Opera .
