History
Prince A.P. Obolensky in 1825-31 held the post of governor of Kaluga. The Obolensky family belonged to the estate in the village. Berezichi, where in 1845 the St. Nicholas Church was erected.
A new estate in Zarechye, on the right bank of Zhizdra, arose at the beginning of the 20th century. Here a manor house was built with a terrace (currently ruined), a park of linden-leafy alleys and a fruit garden were decorated.
