Haiti took part in the 2012 Summer Olympics , which took place in London ( UK ) from July 27 to August 12 , where she was represented by 5 athletes in two sports. At the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the flag of Haiti was carried by the judoka Linus Desravin [1] , and at the closing ceremony - runner Marlena Wash .

Haiti failed to win a single Olympic medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Four out of five athletes in Haiti were born in the United States . Marlena Wash became the only one who performed in two disciplines in her sport: at distances of 200 meters and 400 meters . She did not speak at a 200-meter distance, but reached the semifinals at 400 meters.
