PGZ-95 (other designations: PGZ-04A , Type 95 [2] ) is a Chinese self - propelled anti - aircraft missile and gun system developed by the Chinese company Norinko in the 1990s. It was first demonstrated at the PLA parade in honor of the 50th anniversary of the PRC . [3]

Design Description
The cannon armament is a copy of the 25-mm Swiss anti-aircraft gun Oerlikon Contraves KBA, which was also used in the Italian anti-aircraft gun SIDAM 25 . [one]
Anti-aircraft guns have an ammunition load of 1000 rounds, a rate of fire of 600-800 rounds / minute and a firing range of up to 2500 m. The guns are used to fire at a range of up to 2500 and a height of 2000 m.
MANPADS QW-2 is a copy of the Soviet Igla-1 and is capable of shooting down air targets at a height of 10 - 3500 meters and ranges from 500 to 6000 meters.
An electron-optical guidance system is installed in front of the air defense system and includes a television camera, an IR sensor and a laser range finder, which provide information for the PGZ-95 fire control system. The computerized SLA calculates the range to the target, and the operator remains to open fire when the target falls into the effective fire zone of the air defense system. The tracking system detects targets with a video camera at a distance of up to 6.0 km, and with an infrared radiation sensor up to 5.0 km. The laser range finder operates at ranges of 0.5-5.5 km and has an accuracy of Β± 5 meters.
The ZRPK PGZ-95 is also equipped with a CLC-1 radar mounted on the roof of the ZRPK. The radar operates in the S-band and detects targets at ranges up to 11.0 km
Complex Operation
A feature of the PGZ-95 complex is the combination of a multi-channel system for capturing and tracking targets with cannon-artillery weapons.
From 6 to 8 PGZ-95 can work together through a digital communication network in various modes. The mobile command post is equipped with a CLC-2 PD S-band radar , which is capable of detecting air targets at ranges of up to 45 km and altitudes up to 4.5 km. It sends target designations to PGZ-95 installations for the subsequent execution of the task. The command vehicle is capable of transmitting combat information to the air defense missile system using a wire (up to 0.5 km), a radio (15.0 km) or digitally (5.0 km). [four]
