Avia B.135 ( Czech Avia B.135 ) - Czechoslovak single-seat fighter during the Second World War. It was a monoplane of mixed design with a closed cockpit and retractable landing gear with a tail wheel. Designed in the design bureau of the Avia company under the direction of Frantisek Novotny . It was a development of the design of the Avia B.35 prototype fighter. The experienced Avia B.35.3 made its first flight on June 20, 1939 . Serial production has already begun under the German occupation at the Avia plant in Prague, where only 12 serial aircraft were built, which received the designation Av 135 according to the German nomenclature. Aircraft were sold by the Bulgarian Air Force where they were in service since January 1943.
