Biography
He began to study the art of painting in the years 1880-1881 in the Warsaw Drawing Class under the guidance of V. Gerson . Then in 1881-1889 he studied at the Cracow School of Fine Arts with professors Vladislav Lushkevich , Leopold Löffler , and Jan Matejko .
In 1889-1892 he trained at the Munich Academy of Arts under the leadership of A. Wagner.
In 1896, V. Wodzinowski settled near Krakow and began working as a professor of painting at the Krakow Higher Women's Courses at the local industrial and technical museum.
He was friendly with the famous Polish collector and philanthropist I. Korvin-Milevsky. In 1892-1907 he worked mainly on his orders.
In the ranks of the Polish legions participated in the First World War.
Creativity
In the early period of his work, he painted landscapes and portraits, later created realistic, religious and symbolic compositions, painted paintings of local types of people and rural genre scenes from the lives of villagers living near Krakow.
